Surely somebody could help him, right? He wasn't sure how or why, but one of his chasers had thought it a fun joke to hogtie the venerable Doctor Bramsfield and toss him in Quarantine. "We'll let you out in an hour! Don't mind the rats!" he had yelled.
Well, now...here he was, rotting away in Quarantine. Surely somebody would be by to hear his muffled screams through his cloth gag. Just how long had he been in here? And why was he naked?! Oh. Whoever it was would surely be fired...he just hoped none of the inmates saw him this way.

During her free time Rosemary had decided to head straight down another hallway and then turned left down another.
Oh, boy, I wish I hadn't of done this, she thought warily to herself. Oh, toughen up, Rosie. Being weak will get you nowhere, her stronger voice, another person that found its way to her after Nathaniel was taken away, said.
With that thought in mind Rosemary continued on down the hall. It was dark, dirty, and infested with rats and Rose found herself wondering how they could run a "hospital" here with rats everywhere! Ah, well, maybe they...
"A man!" she suddenly cried out loud, her inner musings forgotten.
She missed men. It had been so long since she had been able to be with one she was hardly able to restrain herself when she saw him, but she noted the situation that he was in and knew she had to control herself.
"Excuse me, Sir, are you all right?" she asked as she tip toed into the room and closer to the man. He had reddish-brown hair with dark eyes and a rounded jaw and he looked much older than her. Ah, well, age has never mattered before...
"Would you like me to untie you?" Rose asked the handsome man.

"God damn, woman, no need to ask!" He snarled, though it came out in muffled garble.
He thrashed a bit before she unbound him, then stood tall and dissatisfied. On his feet he was much taller than she, and far older, judging by the weathered but soft skin of his face. He sneered, upper lip curling into a snarl "And who are you to be running free in my asylum, my dear?" He chuckled harshly.
Before he could stop her, though, the wind from the broken window outside the door had blown shut the locked door which could only be opened from the outside. They were stuck again. Dear gods... He eyed up the younger woman with ferocity and frustration, tempted simply to lash out and injure her. But now she was his only company. Surely someone else would come for them, right?

"T-the guard said we had time to wonder about," Rosemary said. She tried to sound firm, but the man terrified her. She took a few steps back when his hands twitched and closed into fist. "How long are we going to be stuck in here,..." she trailed off, wanting to call him by his name but knowing it; and the fierce glare he shot her didn't sit too well with her.
Standing up straighter and squaring her shoulders, she mustered up all the courage she could find and said, "You could at least say, 'thank you,' seeing as how I untied you and all."
After the words were out of her mouth she wondered if she would come to regret them...

"Oh hush!" He blessed her across the cheek with his palm, then drew away. "We're alone now."
He sat himself on a hay bale and sighed heavily as he gazed at the pretty redhead. "Tell me your name" he said
He crossed his delicate, slender legs, and fell into a laxe personality who only wanted to sleep. He just wanted to get to bed and care for Aeodhan. Maybe Amelia was there waiting for him... Oh well..he could only hope to die now...right?

Rose fell to the floor with a soft thud and brought her knees up to her chest before resting her chin on them.
"My name is Rosemary," she answered him. "Rosemary-Louise Jones. Who are you?" Rosemary tilted her head to the side and studied the man.
He must be a doctor, of course, why else would he be here? she asked herserlf before frowning in confusion. But if he's a doctor, who tied him up? Why is a much better question. Why did they tie him up?
"Why were you tied up?" she asked him.

"I'm surprised you don't know!" He stuttered arrogantly "I'm Doctor Edward Gideon Bramsfield...headmaster of this fine establishment..." he smirked, eyeing the girl up and down. Maybe the hour would go fast.
"Not very bright, are we"?" He said, ever in his cruel ways around strangers. Some inmates had gained the better side of him. Others weren't so fortunate.
He watched a crow fly past the window, not allowing the atmosphere of the situation to bother him much

"Well, I figured you were a doctor but I didn't know who. I only just got here today, Dr. Bramsfield," Rosemary said.
A sly smirk suddenly found its way on her face, even though her inner self warned her it wouldn't be a good idea to tease him. He didn't seem to be in a good mood and she knew it was likely that he was never in a good mood; at least, never in a good mood in public. "You're the headmaster, huh? If I'd known that I would have asked you to show me who's boss long ago," she purred seductively before shrugging her shoulders and grinning at him. "Surely someone will realize the boss is gone, right? Maybe your wife or girlfriend or lover will be worried and come to find you?"
She wondered if she was being obvious in her fishing for more information on Dr. Bramsfield.

"Whom I associate with is none of your business" he said simply, waving her off with a delicate hand.
Frankly, he was concerned for his safety, now. Was she interested in him, for some reason? Did she want the venerable, great Doctor Bramsfield to tickle her...fancy? Surely not. He wasn't sure he had the strength to compete with the sorrow Amelia would shed would she find out anything had happened here.
He closed his eyes and inhaled sharply, cringing at the hideous stench that rose to his nose, and he covered his face with a kerchief that long ago had held chloroform. Now, he thankfully took away from it the last buzz the time-weakened chemical could offer. He certainly couldn't pop a laudanum. She would see him and beg him for some.

Rosemary frowned in confusion and shock at his brush off which she found borderline cold. Only a few men had ever turned down her advances and it was usually only because they were actually happy in their marriages.
"So, then, you are seeing someone," she said quietly, another sly smirk coming onto her face.
Older and taken, she thought to herself. Probably happily taken, too. I've always liked a challenge.
Noting his closed eyes, Rosemary crawled slowly to the doctor, so not to alarm him, until she was sitting as close to his right leg as she could possibly get without giving her presence away.
Her hand ran up his leg slowly until she was touching his knee, and she turned her big, cartoon green eyes on him, widening them to look as innocent as her little Nathaniel would when he wanted something, and said, "I've known how to keep a secret for a long while now."

((OOC: oh and by the way, he's got red hair. I noticed you said he was brunette xD no biggie :3 You should probably read his bio since we're roleplaying together.))
"Dear gods you're a madwoman" he scrambled away in a sudden panic, feeling her fingers trace over the self-inflicted scars he'd had on his legs for a long while now.
Though they were healed and smooth now, they seemed to breathe fire up his body. He shuddered harshly with a whimper and pushed her away with his calf, scooting into a corner. He should have been imposing, and yet all he could feel was a panic. Perhaps it was because they were trapped. No...
He rose to his feet suddenly in a fit of rage, stepping quickly towards her with clenched fists. "I suggest you back away slowly and leave me be. You forget that I am the headmaster and YOUR master" a sneer twisted over his lips again. There was that fire, again.
"I could throw you so many places once we get out of here. You may want to think a little more, you idiotic dolt."

(OCC: Sorry! I'll do that. I was just going off his picture, but I'll go read it after I post this.)
"I can think of many ways to say I'm sorry..." she smirked playfully, "... Master."
Rosemary knew she was playing with fire and should stop while she was ahead, but backing down wasn't in her nature. She didn't like looking or feeling weak and she always saw backing down as weakness. The fear that was bubbling up in her from having him so close to her without her permission was almost suffocating, but she refused to let it show, though she was sure the way she had flinched and backed up slightly gave her away; however, that made her even more determined.
"I'm sorry," she said, deciding to give up for know until she could think up a better plan without him watching her like a hawk. "I've never dealt with... Rejection well before." The word tasted like bile coming up. She shrugged her shoulders and grinned at him, all signs of the vixen that she was seemingly gone. "Where are the showers located? I really need to take one."

"Showers? HA. You take showers when we tell you to take showers. You escaped from your chaser, you ungodly bitch. Do you not realize where you are? You abide by rules. Rules and regulations and standards here. This is the Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls." He snapped.
He grinned wickedly at her and shoved her against the wall with both of his strong hands "You think you're special? Got priveleges here in MY asylum? Nobody gets that the way you're acting."
His breath came in fast, furious snarls from his grated teeth, and he charged to the door "Dear god, somebody! Ther must be a chaser here! Let me out!"
