The scent of something new and the violin music turned Willow's head.
"So pretty," she said, smiling at the music. It was the one thing she could take refuge in, where she felt safe. Music.
She lifted an imaginary violin to her chin, and began fingering and bowing almost exactly in time with the person playing the real one inside.

Wynter walked in grasping Willow's arm and pulling her in behind her. She stood like a jealous lover prepared to kill with a frown well endowed on her face. "DARLING!" she screamed for he was not in her line of sight.

"What in GOD'S NAME do you WANT?!" the violin music abruptly stopped with a sickening screech and a smash. and the aggravated voice drew rapidly closer with rushing footsteps. From a side door, Doctor Bramsfield emerged, his face red and his tendons standing out in his neck.
"Could you not damn well tell that I'm in the middle of something that doesn't concern you?" he barked, clutching the shattered half of what used to be a very highly priced violin.
