Rules and Guidelines for Diary Entries

Here is how your entries will work.

You must create a thread and entitle it with your character's name and some notion of what your character is keeping. (i.e. "Doctor Bramsfield's Memoirs" or "Madame Mournington's Journal" or "Vaudier's Thoughts")

Only the author of each diary may post and reply to his/her own journal. Remember. This is your character's diary, and his/her personal thoughts.

Posting is not mandatory, and can be as frequent or infrequent as needed. However, please no more than three entries a day.

All forum rules apply, except the "past-tense" rule. As these are your character's thoughts, they may be in multiple tenses.

All other forum rules apply.

Your entries must adhere to the basic outline posted below.

Greeting (Dear Diary, Journal Entry #3, Day 7, etc.)

Body (thoughts, scribbles, poems, rants, etc.)

Signed (Sincerely, Until Later, etc.)
Name

References (any posts your entry relates to, either link to them or state which thread/topic you are discussing)

Example Entry:

My sweet, secret journal~

This child will be the death of me. It seems I cannot sleep well enough in the night save for the few sacred moments of silence between his piercing cries. I may wither. But I mustn't complain. He's my beautiful son. How can I say no to or scold that little angelic face?

Also, a side note. DO NOT MAKE MORE THAN ONE THREAD. You are to make a single thread which will consist of all of your diary entries.
