Wynter stood at the gates of the Asylum, while dressed as a proper woman at that moment, she knew too well that wouldn't be the case once she was inside. She sighed as she stepped through the gates, "hello, old friend," she whispered.
All the memories she left there, some good and some bad, all made her hurt inside. It was a bit too nostalgic for her at the moment though, as she was being dragged roughly by the man she thought she'd spend the rest of her life with. She should have known this would happen. He'd caught her in bed with her favorite maid a little to often for his taste.
"You could be a bit gentler Love. This is the last time you'll ever see me." She'd been telling him this for the past two days as he got papers signed and processed in order to send her here. It was at that time that he found out she'd actually been here before and was an escaped inmate, which may have been the last nail in her coffin but it was still worth a trying to manipulate her way back into his bed. He slowed his pace to a stroll up the hill to her doom. There's no way Edward would allow her to live after what she put him through. She wondered to herself if her child was still there, or if he was, would she even be allowed to see him.
She swallowed and looked up at her husband, "you know mad women are the best in bed. There's still time to take me back." This was probably her last desperate chance at freedom. He looked down thoughtfully at her for a moment but then scoffed and quickened his pace as if he was trying to get rid of her before he changed his mind. Wynter looked down sadly, she did love him very much. He was a handsome, well off man that had taken her in and cared for her after she had escaped. She always had to ruin it in the end though.
She settled next to her husband at the door of the asylum as she rang the doorbell. The sounds of the local pack of rats rang from inside the walls.

"Who is it?" the aging Bramsfield opened the doors himself, peering out warily into the outside world.
When his eyes met the impish green ones of the woman before him, he gasped with shock and disbelief. But when his eyes met the taller man securing her wrists, he let out an audible gasp. His hair had since grown longer, but not nearly as long as it had been during his previous lifetime with Wynter.
"Well, well. What brings you here?" He sneered, letting the couple in and shutting the door behind them, "Come back into my grasp already, you worthless nothing?"
His heart was beating irregularly, and he could hardly hear himself think over the thousands of voices screeching in distress over this woman waltzing right back into his life. Could she really be here?! Would she hurt Aeodhan? What if she wanted to replace Amelia? What if? What if, what if, what if...?!

Wynter flashed him her usual wicked grin and looked up to her husband. "Well darling, I do believe this is where you throw me to the lions," she said as she looked from her husband to Edward. Her husband glared slightly at him and he looked at him as if he knew him.
"Hello to you to Edward...I do believe you were the one who let this worthless nothing into your bed." She said a little too calmly for a woman being thrown in the asylum. In reality her heart was beating frantically. All she wanted to do was to go home with her love and curl up next to her favorite window and read a book. She'd never be able to do that now.
"This is my soon to be former husband, William," she said though she thought maybe they already knew each other.

"Yes, yes, I know Willam" he said quietly with a tinge of biterness.
He raised his eyebrow, looking the man up and down. "It's been quite a long time, hasn't it? What? Thirty years? I never forget a face...or...other things." He said tritely.
He grabbed Wynter's wrist, paying no regards to what she'd said. No honor in that. No honor in recalling a whore's words. "Please come to my office, both of you." He led them up the grand staircases and into his office, where a child was crying desperately. "My gods...I've only been gone five minutes! You two. Sit. My couch. Please." He entreated as he slipped away to tend for his son.
"Aeodhan, my love..." he whispered softly, lifting his child tenderly from his bed and cradling him to his breast, as he walked back out to the room

"Other things....really?" Wynter looks toward William noticing a slight blush come across his face. He looked down at her and immediately frowned and said, "it's nothing that concerns you." She smiled and giggled, "and you condemned me for having a little fun with the maid, darling." She said this as Edward grabbed a hold of her wrist and led her rather roughly to his office as William followed close behind.
It wasn't until she heard the cry of a child that her usual calm and wicked grin fell from her face. "Aeodhan," she whispered to herself though it caught the attention of William. He looked from the child in Edwards arm to Wynter and put two and two together quickly. Though the childs looks were a dead give away to anyone.

"Dear gods, child, please, hush" he snapped, then bit his lip "I'm sorry...I'm sorry!" He stroked his shaggy auburn hair away tenderly and kissed his freckled forehead.
Soon Aeodhan was calm and quiet, latching onto his father's neck with a happy coo. He peered to Wynter and seemed to show a spark of recognition, although his face was confused and worried. He hadn't seen his mother since his birth, and that was two years ago. "Pewtty" the child cooed musically, grabbing for Wynter's cherry red hair from across the room.
"William...I'll need you to fill a report and some admissions forms for me. I trust you can still do that for little old me..." he sneered, but an endearing light burned in his eye. He was almost tempted to throw a seductive quip his way. It'd been a long time since he'd been in the presence of a sexual male. Vaudier had left him a year and a half ago.

Wynter smiled softly at her son, which wasn't a smile people saw on her face very often. Her hands were itching to hold him, to love him, to take care of him. The mothering instinct was driven out of her as soon as she set eyes on him.
William looked from Wynter to the child and back uncomfortably. He knew she had had a past but this was not what he'd expected, especially not with him. He looked back to Edward and though his words had stung a bit, the look in his eyes is what caught his attention the most. He fought back a blush again and looked back towards Wynter.
"Of course I can fill out some papers for you," he said putting emphasis on the you. Wynter looked back at William with sudden interest in what was going on. That wicked smile slowly replaced her soft one.

"Here, then. No lies, no falsehoods. You do understand I know everything about her as-is. She was quite notorious on her previous stay here." He said as he sat down in his high-backed chair adjacent to the loveseat they were sitting on.
His emerald eyes roamed down Wynter's plumped body, surprised to see she'd gained weight. Perhaps from her stay in normal society. She was already in some semblance of a shift, perhaps out of habit. His gaze unconsciously drifted to her more private regions, and a shudder or rejection shook his slender frame. All the memories of his past with her slammed his head like a freight-engine and he closed his eyes for a moment.
"So. William...I see you managed to pick up some rabble other than that petty whore you left me for back then. I used to think highly of you... now you're blushing before me like a baffled infant. What, am I too much for you? Hmm?" He smirked "Or do you just miss that fevered rocking against me, hmm?" He couldn't help but nudge a shoe against William's boot to egg him on.

Wynter frowned at the two men. She should have stayed in the whore house. At least there she had owned her self. Damn that stupid handsome, charming man for sweeping her off her feet. She looked back to her child and ignored the two men, hoping this would all end soon and she'd get swept away to some damp dark cold cell to die.
William was thinking very different things then though. Besides his uncontrollable blush, now Edward was egging him on. "I believe it was you who left me," he said with all the venom he could muster behind it. And that whore he was talking about was an arranged marriage, what was he suppose to do about that? He never loved her. The only woman he'd ever remotely loved even a little bit was Wynter. He looked back towards Wynter and suddenly felt horrible for bringing her here.
"Besides, I don't believe this appropriate talk right, lest I change my mind and leave with her," William said catching Wynter's attention as he did so. William was getting more and more irritated by him by the second. Blush was still visible on his cheeks though.

"Oh, but she's already in our custody. Whether you fill these papers out or I do, you may not leave with her, for she is, in her entirety, considered an escaped inmate." He snapped with a sneer.
He stroked his son's head lovingly and rocked him back and forth. For the first time since the day she birthed Aeodhan, he spoke to his ex-wife. The words that came from his mouth were forced and pained, but it was necessary. Especially if he wanted to bother William. Lord knew he still had feelings for him. That relationship had ended in cold blood.
"Yes, Wynter, this child is yours. This is Aeodhan. You lay a hand on this boy, or breathe word of him to anybody, and punishments will be doled. And I know your breed of punishment." He smirked.
Aeodhan lifted his bright face from his father's chest and whined "Papa. 'M hungry" he whined

William cringed Edwards tone of voice more than anything. He was starting to regret coming here. No wonder Wynter had been trying to avoid this place. "Well then I suggest that you shut your mouth and get on with it then if you can fill it out yourself, you lowly bred bastard," he said rather harshly.
Wynter teared up a bit at Edwards words, though she'd expect nothing less than his hatred right now. "I wouldn't dream of it," she said sadly. Though in her mind she was trying to figure out how to get in contact with her child some how. Surely he couldn't keep him away from her forever.
William sat there looking a bit dumb founded. He'd never seen Wynter so depressed looking.

"Occupied, at the moment" he sighed bitterly before standing up to put his son down in his playpen.
He returned to the sitting area, choosing a seat closer to William. He took the papers from him and began to fill them out by memory. All the same, he couldn't help but pose a few rosque questions to Wynter's husband. No need to let him get relaxed.
"So. How intimate are you two?" He asked curiously as though it were a field to fill in on the forms, "And what is your sexual orientation, sir?"
He drew his tongue across his own lips to moisten them, peering over his halfmoon glasses at the blonde man who so resembled Noel, who had come a year before William did. William had been his escape from pain.

Wynter was snapped out of depression when she heard Edwards questions. "Is that seriously a question on the sheet?" She heard William ask. The last question had especially made him uncomfortable. "I can understand the first question a bit but the second one isn't even about me," she said looking at William's blush and then to the door wondering where exactly he put Aeodhan.
William sighed, "you know the answer to those questions already, don't you? I'm too kind to leave a helpless woman on the streets and while I loved her, she's never been in my bed of my own choice." He glared at Wynter but she wasn't looking at him. She was just staring at the door of the room she knew held her son.
"Maybe Wynter should step into the next room while we chat, since I believe you have other things on your mind that have nothing to do with her." Wynter's face lit up a bit at this as she looked from Edward to William and back.

"Take her to her cell, then Vaudier." He shrugged his shoulders, gesturing to his personal chaser who stood at attention just beside the entryway to his office.
The chaser seemed to take pleasure in grabbing Wynter's shoulders and dragging her up from the couch. "C'mon, old friend. Wouldn't wantcha ta' disobey the headmaster, now, would we?"
Edward gave a bitter sneer to Wynter as she was prodded to go in the opposite direction of her son. He wouldn't let her back in so quickly. Not after the scars she'd made him inflict all about his body to the point of near-death. No. He had a new lover now.
"So, William." He said casually, dismissing the romantic aspect merely to confuse him for fun, "If you'd answer those questions for me. We have a whole sheet more."
