It'd been a good week since he'd seen his dear Gypsin--a week since they'd found themselves twisted and tangled together--and today he'd meant to treat the man to a real date. It was, of course, late at night so they could not be seen, and in the pitch black he called out for his lover quietly.
"Gypsin. I know it's dark, but have I lost you? I told you to follow" he said softly, chuckling. "Dear one, come." He whispered "Nobody can see us, no need to be shy."
With his astigmatism, he could hardly see without glasses, and now in the dark he could see absolutely nothing. He'd had to extinguish the candle he'd brought to see, as with the light, any creatures of the night could have seen the two in what they were about to do together.

Poor thing was stumbling in the dark, but his eyes were somewhat adjusting to the light. He thought of the poor extinguished candle and its flickering light that h ad led their way. He shivered slightly in the cool night air but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle. For a week the man had been living in an asylum for heaven’s sake! He moved a bit closer to his lover for some heat.
“I’m here Monsieur.” He said softly, even this late at night his smile was still bright as ever. One of his hands brushing against the other man’s to show he hadn’t gotten lost, though to be perfectly honest… a while back on the way he had but he’d found his way again. “I… must admit, I am a bit shy this evening.” He chuckled quietly, afraid of being too loud.
The sky above them was beautiful! Gypsin cast his gaze upwards and admired the stars for a moment; they were so much different than they were in France...maybe it was because France held bittersweet memories. Another truth be told, he was surprised that they were doing this and he found it quite enjoyable. He hadn’t gone on a real date in what felt like an eternity! The passion from a week ago was still fresh in his mind as if it had happened yesterday and he was glad it hadn’t been just a one night stand between the two. “Is this where we are stopping Monsieur?”

"Yes, I feel here is as nice a place as any" he said, guiding Gypsin to the bench just behind them, sitting down carefully, groping with his hands to feel out the wooden seat. He sat so their hips touched, much needing the warmth from his companion's body, and trailed his fingers over a loose coil of hair that felll over his own face, tucking it away beside his glasses and behind his ear. It was quiet except for the chirp of the crickets, and the moon lit what part of the forest clearing was not shaded by trees.
He closed his eyes and basked in the darkness. "Perhaps tonight we can remain until sunrise. I quite like this park" he said, "It's something unique and I adore the atmosphere, even as dark as it was. slowly, unsurely, he wound his arm around Gypsin's shoulders and he pulled him close, placing the other hand on his knee. "I must say I quite like your face in the moonlight. You're as pale as I am" he said in a hushed, secretive tone. He didn't want any lurkers to hear them and discover their taboo relationship.

He shivered again as they sat down. He hadn’t had time to visit here for more than at least a few moments during his first few weeks in England. Though now he had to admit it was a beautiful place even if it was dark and a bit chilly. It felt just right and fitting for the two somehow. His smile softened and he sighed leaning back against the seat to look out at the still scenery. The warmth he felt from his fragile seeming companion was great and he leaned closer to him. He closed his eyes for a moment and sighed, inhaling the crisp night air and it seemed to comfort him as well. He nodded his agreement about staying out all night here. How lovely and romantic that would be! HE felt an arm snake around his shoulders and he leaned a bit closer again. HE had heard things about the Doctor that he couldn’t believe was true! He’d seen nothing but a sweet caring man and he didn’t think it was fair that people said otherwise. “Monsieur… You are too kind and sweet!” He chuckled and reached a gloved hand up to curl his fingers in a strand of red hair. “You are quite charming.” He whispered again very softly. “I am already enjoying myself more than you know.”
He stopped a moment and grinned wider. "You look so... angelic with the moonlight in your hair. Is this what made you want to come here?"

"My own beauty? Ha, I think not. I am not so vain a creature as some of the girls I have met here. The naughty Veronica, for example..." he trailed off and chuckled. "No, it's you I quite like seeing in the moonlight" he whispered, stroking the blonde and tan hair that framed his companion's face so charmingly. His eyes seemed to sparkle in the moonlight, and he was captivated by Gypsin's.
He closed his emerald eyes for a moment and enjoyed the closeness of his lover. "I should think tonight will be quite romantic, should you allow it to be so." He said quietly and chuckled "What say you?"
He cupped the side of Gypsin's face and leaned in slowly, unsure of himself or his sight, not knowing how far away he was as his judgement of distance was poor in the darkness. He kissed him sweetly, then, and held his breath for the reaction of dear monsieur Faust.

The feeling of their searing gentle kiss and the doctor’s hand on his face and in his hair thrilled him! It sent a tingle up and down his spine and he couldn’t help but giggle. “You must give yourself more credit Monsieur.” He playfully and gently kissed him back. Reaching up he slowly removed the other’s glasses as they kissed and pulled away to look at them and fiddle with them. The other doctor looked so… different with them on and with them off, though Gypsin couldn’t decide which he liked better and he was sure that poor Bramsfield was having a hard enough time seeing without his glasses being held hostage; so he replaced them and placed a gently kiss to the tip of his nose.
“You’re making me blush! No one has said these words to my in quite a long time…. I do believe that tonight will be very splendid!” He found it so cute how Bramsfield stumbled about to see and even struggled a bit to kiss him, but he also found it very sweet. “I see you can charm more than just insane girls.” He whispered with a wink and leaned against the doctor.
He laid his head on Bramsfield’s shoulder; it was taking all he was to keep himself calm. Gypsin was a sucker for romance and a hopeless romantic! He just loved this kind of thing! Not to mention that he hadn’t gone on a real date in so long!

"I'm not quite sure what we could be doing right about now." He chuckled. He moved in for another kiss and froze as something rustled nearby, and he perked up. "I can't see a damned thing" he said in a hushed tone. "Can you see what's in the bushes and whereabouts the noise came from?" He said warily. He didn't want to take a risk.
A squirrel skittered across the ground, over the two men's feet, and Edward sighed, relieved it hadn't been a creature of the night coming to get them. He chuckled and gazed once again at Gypsin. "But truly. You are quite gorgeous in the moonlight." He said quietly, pressing a chaste kiss on his lips.
"I fear I'm falling into a deep pit of affection." He admitted quietly, shamefully, a blush spreading over his freckled cheeks.

Gypsin himself jumped when he heard the rustling though it wasn’t for the same reason. Many things lurked in the dark, be it ghosts or even some kind of monster. He nodded though and was about to stand when a squirrel scurried by them and he burst out laughing but quickly covers him mouth to muffle his fit. Paranoia was getting the better of them both, seeing as they both were quite relieved. It was rather risky for them to be out in the open anyway, seeing as how taboo their relationship was. How he hated the word ‘Taboo’, sad thing was he didn’t really know why. He just did.
What could one do at park at night? Well many things, he supposed and tilted his head as he thought about it a moment. “Don’t fall too hard Monsieur, you may hurt yourself. Then where would we be?” He said with a wink and a giggle. He found that blush creeping it’s way on to the others face quite adorable. He stood up suddenly and turned to the doctor take a few steps backward, placing on foot behind the other in a playful way. “Vous flattez-moi, Monsieur! You flatter me, sir.” He said with a mischievous smile.

"How I love it when you speak your language" he said gruffly, rising unsteadily in the darkness and following after him slowly, "Where are you going?" he whispered over the cool breeze that blew past them both, careful not to trip and fall in the pitch of night. He chuckled and tried to make a quick move, but Gypsin was too fast for him.
"Really, though, come back" he chuckled, his lover always one step ahead of him. He beckoned with one finger and bit his thin lower lip enticingly. "Do I have to beg and grovel for you to come back to me?" He said, seriously though his eyes sparkled in the moonlight behind his half-moon spectacles.

“Do you?” He asked with a sincere smile. That was something he’d rarely ever heard! He giggled as he stepped back more playfully. “Oh come on, surely you could catch up!” He smirked and side stepped the doctor, tapping him on the shoulder once, twice, before prancing away. He was in such a playful mood that he was having a hard time controlling himself. Every time Bramsfield took a step forward he took a step back and giggled as the other man missed him by just a moment. Tonight was seeming better and better, he didn’t even notice the cold because he wasn’t really paying attention.
“I would find it adorable if you did.” He Shivered again and nodded cutely. “It would defiantly be a new side of you Monsieur Bramsfield.” He chuckled and took a small step closer. He quickly stepped forward and placed a gentle kiss on Bramsfield’s lips and the tip of his nose before jumping back again. His smile just didn’t stop growing until it was a mischievous cheshire cat smile. He had become enticed with Bramsfield, the way his hair looked in the moonlight, his pale skin, his wonderful scars, and even his wonderful green eyed

"God...damnit!" He cursed, growing irritated. Soon he had slipped into another mood entirely, something he was victim to with his MPD, and he snarled, throwing his hands up in exasperation. Here was the side Gypsin had never seen. Here was the Bramsfield nobody liked and everybody feared. He snapped his mouth shut and ground his teeth hard. What had started as frustration had quickly turned into outright rage.
Still, he managed to calm himself and soon cooled down. "I apologize." He said breathlessly, "There's something I should likely explain to you." He said as a warning, stepping forward and settling his palm on Gypsin's shoulder with the lightest of touches. He shook his head in sorrow. "I'm not....not stable. Not in the slightest. I suffer erratic mood swings anywhere from sorrow to violence to arousal at any given moment of any given day. You'll have to be wary. And keep that sweet and g entle mouth of yours shut tight that I admitted it. I don't like to admit that I have a problem."

Gypsin was so shocked that he nearly fell backwards, tripping over the high heels of his boots. He had been caught off guard by the man’s sudden snap. His smile lessened but it was still there just softer. “Pardonnez-moi. Forgive me. I did not mean to offend or anger Monsieur.” He said very softly, he thought about taking a step back to give the man some space but thought better of it and stayed his ground. He had to admit to himself though, he was scared a bit. The only other person he had dealt with that was like this was his father and that wasn’t a pleasant experience either. The warm touch on his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts. He wanted to snicker as say something along the lines of: My mouth is not as gentle and sweet as you think. But again he decided not to say anything.
“Monsieur…” He said very softly and instead took another step forward. “I have my fair share of problems.” He bit his lip, his smile fading a bit more but still there. “I know, I have very many Monsieur… one’s that I am not proud of in the slightest.” He reached a hesitant hand up, not really wanting to set him off again, and ran it through the others hair in a comforting way. “It is nothing to be ashamed of.” He didn’t know how to feel about Bramsfield know. Though he was attracted to him, he know had a good reason to fear him. There was nothing Gypsin needed more right now than a small dose of laudanum to forget this side and a good blood-letting to calm his nerves.

As if on cue, he pulled a bag of laudanum from his pocket, something he always carried on him in case of an emergency. He popped one, feeling another horrid swing coming on, and within a few minutes was relaxed and calm. "Ah" he said quietly. "Would you like one? Eases the pain a little. I know I'm scary" he admitted, sighing heavily, sadly.
He felt terrible for making his lover scared. He could see the uncertainty in his eyes, and that uncertainty started to burn in the pit of his own stomach. He shook his head and stepped away from the gentle combing of his endless waves of ginger hair. "I...I'm going to go for a while. You...may follow if you want to. But I do need my space. I just don't want to leave you be in the dark."
He turned on his heel and stalked off to the bench several feet away and threw himself on it, wincing in emotional pain. "I can see in your eyes that you cannot trust me any longer"

When Bramfields pulled out the laudanum, Gypsin was more than a little bit shocked but mostly relieved. One normally didn’t carry around leeches and the proper things to take care of the wound once it was inflicted. He immediately took up his offer, taking one of the things and popping it quickly. “Merci.” He whispered his thank you very softly. It wasn’t as calming as bloodletting but for now it was getting the job done and that was all he cared about at the moment.
“I don’t mind the dark Monsieur.” That was a lie. He hated the dark just as much as he hated mirrors. He quickly lowered his hand as the man moved back and returned it to his side. He didn’t want to set off the man again. He thought back to his father and decided this situation needed to be gently tip toed around as if stepping on a floor covered in glass and must be treaded on very very carefully.
Gypsin held his ground as there was a certain power in stillness. “My trust is not easily wavered by something as small as that Monsieur.” He wrapped his arms around himself and kept his distance like he was told. He gave him another soft smile. “I’ll… return to the asylum if you’d like your space Monsieur.” He gave a slight bow and turned on his heeled boots and headed in the direction of the asylum. Knowing the way he was though he would most likely get lost but at least he’d be having an adventure of sorts.

"What a failure I am..." he said dejectedly, still within earshot of Gypsin. He hung his head and sighed a heavy sigh. He couldn't find his way back to save his life, and so he closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Perhaps he'd find his way back when dawn broke. He ruminated on the hard facts of life and rocked from side to side in his curled up position, feeling feeble and weak and broken.
Whether or not his lover could admit the pain he'd inflicted, he could see in Gypsin's eyes the recognition of danger in him. He knew himself he was a dangerous man, and could admit that readily, but couldn't bear to think that Gypsin now knew that.
