Hermione slowly creeped in, looked for a sign of anyone. When she realized there wasnt, she tiptoed towards the large desk in the far end of the office. Tiptoed? Why should she, she was a ghost in the first place. No one could see her. She rammged over some documents, looking for files concerning her. After twenty minutes of hopeless searching, she came across what she was sure she had been looking for. She opened the folder, to see hername neatly printed on the top. Her general infromation...and her cause of death. She had died in the electric shock therapy. From what she remembered, the Doctors face was all she could see, until the world blurred into a white bright light. She read on, trying to pick up information that would seem important.

The papers were moving on their own and something was amiss. Doctor Bramsfield had entered the foyer of his office to find things floating in the air. He paled and panicked, shivering violently. What was this strange occurrence? Surely a ghost. "You there!" He shouted in a trembling voice "Show yourself or leave my quarters at once!" He commanded, growing a bit stronger in his tone. He stepped towards the papers and snatched them from the air with quite a struggle. He would have no ghosts here.

Hermione hadn't heard the door open, when suddenly a voice blasted in her ears. An unfortunate con of being dead, was that she was sensative to sounds. She heard everything now. The mice running about in the chambers, the hallways. Everywhere.
She jumped, startled by the shout, dropping the papers. She stared at her murderer, asotnished. She needed answers. Why had she died? She knew it had been a procedure, that had clearly failed. She relived those last few moments of her slipping away, her life becoming a white blur. When she woke up, she had seen her own corpse, being pulled towards the mortirary.
She then remembered that she was invisable to him, and as quickly as she could, rushed infront of him. She suddenly let herself become visable, and stared at him with her bright blue, grave eyes. He was so close, she could sense his shivering breath. "What did you to to me?" She asked, half shouting.

"Dear...Jesus don't do that to me!" He said, enraged by her sudden appearance. "You silly, manic bitch!" He struck the ghost across her face, finding that he didn't make any contact but rather his hand went right through her as though she was nothing more than a cloud or steam. He clenched his teeth shut and growled. "I've dealt with your likes before. I will not have gosts in my asylum." He said bitterly.
"I banish thee!" He cried in vain, as though by saying so she would have to leave. Would he have to resort to pleading? Certainly not. He was ready to attempt to strike her again when a child's happy voice rang through the room.
"Has daddy brought me a playmate again?" cried his three year-old son from the doorway, happy to see a pretty girl who he hoped would occupy and play with him.

The Doctor had seen her. Tormented, terrified. Hermione felt a twinge of guilt, yet did her best to ignore it. She needed to know what had happened to her. How had she did? Had he murdered her on porpuse?
The ghosts never really remebered how they died, just the last three minutes. Then man tried to lay a hand on her, which she closed her eyes to, knowing he could do no harm to her. As she knew, he didnt hit her, rather passed right though her.
She was about to aplogize but he then said harsh words, which made her tear up a bit, her pale skin become flushed. He tried to banish her, which she gawked at. Was THAT the extenct of human imagination?
She had heard the little footsteps. A certain pureness in the air. She sensed a child, his aura bright and kind, full of joy, yet a bit of loneliness. The child opened the door and peered out, asking if she was here to play with him.
Hermione's eyes softened. She loved children. And the child was so beautiful. She paced to him and leaned down, to hold his face in his hands. "Its only if you want me to play with you, paupet." She said sweetly, flicking his nose gently in playfulness.
"You have a lovely son." She said, to the Doctor. She stood tall, holding the child's hand. "It might be better for you to know that as much as you may want to banish me, I cannot. We cannot. We are stuck here. This place...it grabs a hold of you, and never lets you go. But i do have to say, sir, you know how to give a ghost a good laugh." She said, chuckling.

"You will not touch my son." He said in a strong, unwavering voice. "I know cruel, cruel ways to make you suffer even now." His face contorted into a dangerous sneer. Upon Doctor Bramsfield's sudden bitterness, his son realized something was off. The boy backed away from the woman holding his hand and he whimpered "Wait you're not mama. Not a friend either" he said uneasily.
The very angry, very lethal doctor stepped towards the ghost and his eyes darkened. If there was one thing he would not have it was any danger to his beloved son. Nobody that he didn't trust got near Aeodhan. This girl was no exception. "Aeodhan" he said strongly, "Go run and play in your room. Father will deliver a different playmate." Not being one to disobey his father, yet being one to change things up, he instead ran to Doctor Bramsfield's feet and hugged the tall man's legs. "Papa. Why you so angry all of a sudden?"

Hermione's eyes were sad, when the boy seemed to realize something was off about his father. She could feel her cheecks get flushed and her eyes tearing up.
Leaning, down, she gave the child a lingering kiss onnhis forhead. "Obbey you papa. Child, you are still pure. May the angels gaurd you." She said, letting go of his hand and stanidng up straight.
Once Aeodhan left, she turned to the Doctor. "You really beleive I would harm a child so pure, so innocent, with so much good in him? I wont. And theres nothing you can do to hurt me now. I left nothing behind in this world. Im dead," she said, with a tragic smile, "And if anything I will protect him."
She felt herself become weightless. She missed children. She had always loved them. She never hurt anyone in her life, she gave the man a soft look. "All I came here for was to know what you did to me. Why I'm still stuck here."

"I couldn't give you a truthful answer if I tried," Edward said with a light shrug, gently stroking Aeodhan's red hair when the boy ran to cling to his leg. He stood protectively, as though he could stop anything from ever happening to his son when he knew that anything could happen at any time to harm the vulnerable, innocent soul.
He looked around the room and back to the ghost. "You best leave. I will get violent. I know things that can hurt a gost. I ventured into witchcraft for a while as a boy. I know what harms people...no...things...like you." He said bitterly, snarling in warning.
