"Yes. You know," Cole mimed the action of drinking from a glass. She turned and walked back to where she was sitting. "My mother drank it when she was pregnant with me and look how wonderful I turned out." She turned and spread her arms ever so slightly towards herself as if to say 'ta-da!'

"Oh," Wynter said sarcastically, "that certainly puts my mind at ease then." She laughed a bit watching the girl, wondering what her real problem was. "So why are you here?"

Cole smiled. "Well, my handsome and rich, murderous, rapist fiance told my parents I needed profession help and that this was the greatest place in Britian to do it."
Cole tilted her head and looked up at the ceiling as if deep in thought. "So, why am I here?" Then she went back to looking at Wynter. "So he can marry my sister, kill her and take all our money. Like he'd plan to do with me, of course!"

"Would you rather be dead or here?" Wynter curiously said wondering the same for herself.

"Well, either would be tolerable. If I were dead, than I could haunt him until he's driven insane and he would end up here. Or a place like it. But, since I'm here, I'll just bide my time until I have the chance to make him pay." Cole unknowingly put her hand to her necklace.

"Death sounds more fun in your case," Wynter said thinking of how she could have haunted the horrible old man her lovely Elisabeth was married to if he had killed her. Wynter was watching Cole closely enough still to notice her hand wandering up to her necklace.

"Yes, but," Cole looked over at Wynter, "one must work with what one is given. I rather much prefer to kill him though. Then I could tell him about how I know everything and that he isn't as sly as he thinks he is."

Wynter smiled darkly away from Cole lost in her thoughts a bit. "They always think they're being sly and that we don't know what their up to," Wynter said, "most of the time it's written so planly on their face though."

"So plainly, you wonder if everybody else is just stupid for not realizing it." Cole adjusted herself in the chair so that she was leaning up on one of the arms and her legs were draped over the other. "So, what do you plan to do once you are out of here?"

"I do not know really. I haven't thought of leaving since I got here." Wynter said this realizing that she may very well be able to leave this place someday. "When I got here I just figured I'd die here."

"Well that's a sad thought. They'll leave you in here long for 'Melancholia' if you keep thinking like that." Cole looked up and raised her hand to make imanginary lines following the cracks in the ceiling. "You're halfway out of here now that you've gotten the Doctor to fall for you."

"I'll always be here as long as he's a doctor here," Wynter said not knowing how she felt about that. "He told me earlier that he was planning to destroy my inmate file here." She knew he would do anything to make her his forever including something that could cost him his job at the asylum.

"Well, if that's the case," Cole let her arm drop and hang off the side of her seat, "why not just leave? You're technically not an inmate anymore."

Wynter laughed a cynical laugh, "and where would I go?" she asked. "You know I've never met Madam Mournington?" she said changing the subject. She knew the fact that she had never met her before allowed becoming his wife within the asylum possible.

Cole normally would have called her out on changing the subject, but decided against it. Opting instead for a chance to insult more people. "I have. She was terribly rude, also. I was in the middle of a conversation with her and she up and walked away."
