Wynter sat on a rocking chair in the children's room, which was really just a corner of the music room cleared out for her son and daughter, with her daughter Meiread sitting contently on her lap while watching her son Aodhan playing with small wooden blocks that her husband had brought in from london when he was out.
Her little girls hair fell in short dark red riglets with a splash of freckles across her nose and cheeks, her bright green eyes smiled up at Wynter. Meiread was a mommy's girl and always wanted to be held and loved.
Aodhan was pale, without freckles, but with light red hair and bright green eyes. He didn't like to be held by his mother and soon she gave up trying to hold him at all. He preferred his father and his lab to his mother and her arms.

Doctor Bramsfield entered the music room carrying his antique, repaired violin and three presents wrapped in expensive paper. He hummed softly as he plopped a present in each of his children's laps, and one in his wife's hands. "My gorgeous family..." she said happily, "I've brought you something back from my trip to london!"
He scooped his son up softly, kissing his pale forehead with affection "Aeodhan," he said in his smooth celtic tongue, humming happily as he embraced the gorgeous little boy. "Shall I play some music for my beautiful children?" He was slightly more stabilized on a revolutionary medicine, and as such didn't quite veer in every direction as much.

Wynter sat Meiread on the floor next to the rocking chair and watched her little girl tear open her gift to find a stuffed teddy bear. Meiread hugged it enthusiastically. She watched Aeodhan unwrap his gift very paticularly, careful not to tear the paper too much but did not see what he got because he quickly hid them from her. "What did you get Aeodhan," she asked him but he refused to show her.
Wynter sighed opening her own neatly wrapped gift and smiled looking up at her long time fiance. "It's beautiful," she said holding up the diamond necklace catching Meireads attention quickly as the little toddler stood up and reached for it.

"My sweetie, I got one for you as well," he said affectionately as he slipped a smaller version over his daughter's head and sat down on the floor with Aeodhan. "I got him those expensive toy soldiers he wanted so badly when I took him into town...I can't wait to take you there one day my beauty." he smiled up at Wynter.
He turned his attention to Aeodhan and cooed to his son lovingly, knowing the boy would open up for him as he always did. He loved his daddy. "Aeodhan..." he said softly, "Will you play with daddy?" he picked up one of the small tin soldiers and leaned against the bookshelf, smiling down at the little boy.

Wynter smiled down at her Edward as she put her own necklace around her neck. She turned her attention back to her daughter who sat next to her new teddy bear looking very content with herself as she looked at her own diamond necklace. "Did you really get her a diamond necklace darling?" she asked looking to her love. "You know she'll only hide it like she hides every other small object we give her."
Aeohdan didn't speak but instead turned toward his father handing him several of the little tin army men.

"Keep some for yourself, my little emerald," he whispered, leaning down and kissing Aeodhan's ginger hair affectionately as he proceeded to play with the soldiers with him, doing whatever he could to keep his beloved son happy. "I trust you'll keep it safe, it's not like you don't know where her little stash is," he laughed softly as he glanced up at Wynter.
Meiread cooed softly as she played with her brand new teddy, plucking at the ears and the chubby belly with excitement. "So...pweetty..." she said softly, giggling.

"I only know because I followed her one day after you'd given her a little bracelet that matched mine," Wynter giggled remembering. She looked down at her daughter and picked Meiread and her teddy up, sitting them both on her lap. She rocked them both back and forth in her rocking chair.
Aeodhan smiled up at his father taking back a couple of the army men he'd given him. Each of them had an equal amount of men in their little armys now, not only that but an equal amount of each kind of man in their armies. Wynter smiled at the two of them as she rocked Meiread.

Edward smiled down at his son and set up his men in a little batallion and played at marching them towards Aeodhan's little men, admiring how peculiarly specific he was. His eyes drifted up to gaze at his wife-to-be and he smiled proudly.
"Ah...Wynter...I love you," he smiled brightly. Meiread giggled softly and snuggled her teddy, nuzzling her momma's breasts affectionately.

Wynter smiled down at her husband to be, "I love you too darling," she said and then turned back to Meiread. Meiread attention was forever attracted by everything around her and she quickly squirmed out of her mothers lap and crawled toward her father and twin brother. Aeodhan was advancing his army of little tin soldiers toward his fathers identical army with a huge dimpled grin on his face when Meiread grabbed a hold of one of his tin soldiers.
((OOC: I think you should write for Aeodhan for awhile.))

Aeodhan squealed as his lead colonel got lifted up from the floor, and began to cry "MAY-RAD NO!!" He stomped his little feet and reached for it, tears running down his chubby freckled cheeks.
Edward noticed the little spat, but knew better than to interfere, as they would surely smooth the kinks out soon enough.

Wynter edged toward Meiread and Aeodhan when she saw the dispute. "Meir," she said, "give that back to your brother. You know better than to take his things." Meiread didn't give it back, instead she held onto it tighter. "I play too, I play too," she said through Aeodhan's screams.

"Shh...Shh Meiread. You can play too" he whispered softly, "Give that one back to Aeodhan and daddy will give you some of your very own!" His hands stroked her curly red hair, and he gently tugged the soldier from Meiread's hands and gave it back to Aeodhan. Almost immediately, Aeodhan clamped his mouth shut and returned perfectly to normal, as though nothing had happened at all. Doctor Bramsfield, surprised, stared on with a slack jaw. "What a strange child..." he trailed off quietly.

Wynter watched her two children, Meiread sat looking up at her father waiting for the tin soldiers of her very own he'd promised her and Aeodhan sat quietly as if nothing had happen, once again absorbed in charging his army towards the other one. "That was odd...." she murmured to herself under her breath.
