Full name: Ginevra.
Nicknames: Jinny.
Race: Talking rat.
Sex: Female.
Age and birthday: January 4, 1836.
Personal belongings: Nothing.
Abilities: Knows the Asylum like the back of her paw.
Personality: Jinny is an extremely plucky little rat with an independent, outspoken demeanor and an attitude to match. She doesn't, for lack of a better term, take crap from anyone. She is extremely loyal to those she loves, and will do anything to help them if they need it. She is a quick thinker, and can get out of any sticky situation. Jinny tells it like it is most of the time, but she can offer words of great comfort when she deems it the appropriate time to do so. She secretly wants to help the poor girls in the Asylum, but she's not sure how.
History: Jinny was born under a fruit-crate in a London alleyway one cold winter day. She was only one in a little of seven, but the winter was cruel that year, and she and her brother Peter were the only ones to survive. As with most rats, she never knew her father, so for the beginning of her life it was just the three of them. Once Peter and Jinny got big enough, they left their mother and proceeded to scurry around the streets of London. However, one day, while scavenging for food, Peter accidently wandered in the path of a man taking a walk. Disgusted by the little rat, the man beat Peter with his walking stick, while Jinny watched from behind a pile of trash. After the man left, Jinny ran to her brother to discover that, miraculously, he was still alive. Jinny dragged him to safety and nursed him back to health. However, Peter was never the same after that; he was a little... off. That day the two rats decided they needed to find a place to call home, as the streets were too dangerous. Peter and Jinny wandered for a bit before stumbling upon the Asylum one day; they entered through the back of the garden and entered through a hole in the wall. They decided that it was warm enough and there were enough food scraps to keep them comfortable, but the tortures they witness keep them in the safety of the walls.
Looks: Jinny is a small blue-gray rat, with little black eyes, pink ears, nose, and paws, and a pink tail. Her belly fur is a few shades lighter than the rest of her fur.
Weaknesses: Jinny can be aggressive to the point of violence (she’s not above biting an orderly who almost steps on her). She also is very protective of her brother.
Important memories: The day her brother almost died.
Languages: English, Rat.
Characteristics: Jinny has a strong sweet tooth and a fondness for music. She also loves to sunbathe in the garden.
Other: Jinny has only smelled flowers once in her life; in the garden of an old woman on the outskirts of London. Flowers didn’t grow in the London streets and there are none in the Asylum.
I have read and accepted the rules: Yes.
