"No, I'm not married, and he's only two" he said softly "Had him to an ungreatful wretch who used my heart to gain her freedom from this institution. The biggest mistake of my life was to trust her, but look what I got out of it - Aeodhan" he said, beaming with pride. When he found Alistair's hand on his knee suddenly, his eyes darkened. When the hand was removed, he quickly and gently snatched it up, replacing it where it had only just sat. Gypsin's hands were warm and a bit sweaty, as he could feel when the heat spread over his knee.
"To answer your question," he said, softly, "I do get lonely. I have my Amelia, she is the light of my life, but I miss my husband so." He had let slip the true gender of his betrothed. The cat was out of the bag and he didn't even realize it had happened. He smiled sadly "These days Amelia has taken to leaving me alone much more often. I suppose some company such as yourself is quite nice." He said. Simple words, and yet there was a deeper, more intimate meaning behind them.
He slowly but surely settled his hand on the small of Gypsin's back, where he rubbed his thumb in circles absentmindedly. It was a brazen move, but he for some reason felt as though it were appropriate. He waited with baited breath to see what his companion's response would be.

The tale of the small child was almost heartbreaking! “What a beautiful name!” He said with his widen smile. He was so so glad to hear he wasn’t married! It was a relief when he grabbed Gypsin’s hand and replaced in to where it was. It made him smile just a bit more and when he noticed that Edwards eyes had darkened, it made him all the more attractive. His kind touch made Gypsin’s heart flutter a bit. The pride in his eyes, if it were to manifest like fire would set ablaze the whole establishment!
Then came the second blow. Who was Amelia?! He felt an ache in his chest at being shot down before anything even happened, but then he played it off as once again his corset causing him problems- Did Bramsfield just say husband? He was gay! “Company such a myself? I don’t think I quite understand. Oh hold on a moment.” He said and reached his free hand up to brush a strand of red hair back in to place on the kind doctor’s head. He did however think he knew exactly what the man was saying but playing the innocent sometimes made him that ore cuter. That burning light in his eyes simply made Gypsin shiver.
He suddenly found himself not paying attention and was only brought back when he felt a hand on his back. For a moment he felt like he was back in France with his first lover in the family garden. But he knew better than that. He pressed a bit closer to the doctor and both his mismatched eyes took on a lustful shine, while the hand on the other man’s knee slowly began to stroke it slowly on instinct. After a moment of thinking, Gypsin found that me much more preferred to be here than back in France. "Mr. Bramsfield?" He asked in a soft confused whisper.

"Yes?" Was his hushed reply, eyes half-lidded as he watched Gypsin's hand tenderly stroke the inner part of his knee, causing flames to rush up from every touch and small electric jolts to quicken his heartbeat. He managed to keep his breathing under control though it was quite hard to keep an even pace. He realized his face was far too eager, and put on a mask of a smile, something entirely appropriate and far more comfortable for himself. He even dared to show just the slightest hint of his teeth, something he didn't do very often as he was quite sensitive of his slight overbite.
He gently drew his hand up and down the small of Gypsin's back, fingers gliding over the smooth silk of his vest and the ribbed criss-cross of corset strings beneath both blouse and vest. His eyes closed fully and he indulged for a moment before he realized he looked far too eager again, and settled upon merely rubbing in circles on the other's back. He waited with painful anticipation for his question or response, as he needed to know what this curious creature was thinking. It was a necessity, now, more than anything.
Slowly, it dawned on him that he had made a huge mistake. Or, perhaps, it wasn't a mistake at all. He had blown his sweet Noel's cover and had let slip that he was by nature a homosexual. And now he had brought up Amelia. He saw now, in basis, what Gypsin was thinking, and because of his mention of his fairweather lover, he had broken the young man's heart. Or so he thought. Perhaps there was some way he could mend it, perhaps he could fix it all...after he'd heard what he had to say, he would take his attempt, his shot to make things right. He could not bear to pain another so kindred to his own soul.

“Do you do this to all of your new employees? Or… Am I special?” He gave a soft chuckle and a jesting smile. Was this a test? Was Bramsfield really gay? Being gay was a taboo, yes? Was he testing him on something to hold against him. However he couldn’t get past the lustful look in those green eyes and the eager look that came and vanished from his face. He felt his heart beat quickened and all around him the decorations on the wall slowly began to wiggle with life of their own. But with the doctor’s arm around him, he felt a comfort and stared back in to his green eyes. He was sure the smile he was getting from the doctor was indeed a rare one and his own brightened and the lustful spark increased. How lovely that smile was to him. Yes... he was begining to like the doctor very much.
Gypsin’s eyes were sparkling with lust that spoke volumes but he was refraining himself. What if the doctor really wasn’t gay? He certainly knew where to touch Gypsin to make him almost melt in his hands. He could barely feel the touch though the layers of fabric and it sent shivers up his spine. How wonderful the slightly pressure of his hand felt against his back. Again he saw that eager look appear as quickly as it once again was hidden and he found it quite a bit adorable. His first lover used to do that as well. Indeed he quite enjoyed the game they both were playing. What exactly was on the red head’s mind?
Then he found his eyes almost sliding closed and his thoughts running quite free. Was Amelia prettier than him? Even when he used to dress as a woman? He found that he didn’t much even want to know. What he was most curious about now was about Noel. Who was he, if indeed it really was a he? He suddenly found himself starting to get light headed, which was quite normal for him, so he leaned back a bit to gain some relief. Being light headed was always a commn thing when one chose to wear a corset, but at the moment it was causing a nuisance and a bother.

"Well I, er..." he choked a little on the air around them and struggled to breathe, though he didn't make that at all evident for Gypsin. He noticed the stroking to his knee had ceased a while ago, and he was yearning for that touch again that he hadn't felt in so long. But he couldn't ask, oh, no, he wouldn't ask, either. His dignity would not allow begging at this moment. He cleared his throat when his breath was caught and smiled a liquid smile "Hm. Let us just say that I've never told a stranger that I had a husband. I certainly also never find myself attracted as such I am now."
He noticed that Gypsin's breathing was becoming an issue along with his light-headedness, and smiled wider, but it soon became more of a serious, concerned one. "You look to be in pain. You're in the comfort of my own office. Only Vaudier would intrude without warning and he is currently out on the town. Why don't we take that corset off, or at least loosen it for you? I may be a doctor, but should you faint, I'd find myself most concerned." He smiled softly and patted the other's back. He hoped that he had made it clear enough with his answer to Gypsin's question that the man now understood his sexuality quite clearly and could act accordingly.

Hearing the doctor was attracted to him warmed his heart greatly; the answer to his question was also pleasing! It had been so long since a man; even a non-civilized man had said that to him. He looked down to find both of his hands in his lap and slowly inched one to the doctor’s leg again. He brushed his hand slightly again the other man’s leg and smiled. Gypsn was sure the doctor’s smile could attract anyone if they had the chance to see it. His breathing hitched slightly. “You’re attracted to me?” He asked in a breath-like whisper. He would be lying if he said he wasn’t flattered!
‘Damn this thing!’ he thought, ‘Why now of all times do you choose to be a bother?!’ He mentally scolded hi beloved corset. Usually his corset didn’t both him, especially since he had worn one for quite a while, perhaps it was because today he tied it extra tight just to impress. Who was Vaudier? He shrugged that question off, he’d find out soon he supposed. “I… wouldn’t mind it being loosened a bit.” Doctor Bramsfield’s care was so touching that it made him giggle. Though with the current breathing problem, the giggle didn’t really quite make it out of his mouth so he just smiled wider instead. “Would you… Do it for me?” He asked with a small tilt to his head.

"Of course. Allow me" he whispered, "Would you mind removing your blouse and vest so that I can get to it?" He asked softly, but leaned in to do it himself. He gently unbuttoned the vest and let it slide off, then did the same for the shirt. When they had fallen to the cushions, and his face had gained a slight tint, he gently untied the knots in the back of the man's corset and loosene the strings until he'd been given the okay to cease and retie the bows. When he had done so, he looked upon the now topless man with piqued interest as he handed him his shirts again, not sure he wanted them put back onto Gypsin quite yet. He was very pale, and his build was quite feminine like his own, something he quite liked in a man.
He chuckled a low chuckle and brushed Gypsin's cheek gently, "Yes, I do find you quite attractive. Especially now." He said, eyes growing hooded again in appreciation of the other. Seeing him in such a strange contraption as a corset had his loins aching a bit just for the exotic look of him, and he had to cross his legs to hide anything too revealing from the other, should he have found himself with any form of erection. He smiled and thought of picking up a biscuit to eat, but found himself far too distracted by Gypsin to want to tend to his own needs.
He cleared his throat and continued to cup his cheek, comfortable with this gesture. After a while, he pulled away and brushed off some of Gypsin's bangs that had fallen loose, gently tucking them away where they had previously been.

Gypsin was simply delighted when the doctor expected his offer to loosen his corset. His smile widened when the other man began to removed his vest and shirt. “How kind of him!’ he giggled mentally and a tint had revealed itself on his pale face. He looked down at the man’s fingers nimbly undoing his buttons and sliding away the cloth from his off his shoulders with ease. He felt exposed but being in this state never really gave him any mind as he’d been in it many many times before. Needless to say the loosening of his corset was a relief, he took a slightly deep breath and his light headedness had gone away. Perhaps it was a good thing that it happened. “Thank you so much Monsieur Bramsfield.” He whispered leaning forward and using the French word for sir. “I do feel quiet better now.” He smiled retrieving his shirts however he didn’t put them back on yet. Instead he folded them and set them on his lap.
The tint on his face grew when he noticed the staring at him and he spoke. “You flatter me.” He giggled and crossed his legs as well. “I admit you are quite the charmer.” His hand staying where it was on the doctor’s leg. He looked down at his colored purple corset and thought a moment of how their game was progressing and found it to his liking. What he wanted to know was what the doctor looked like under his blouse. He was brought of this short fantasy when he felt the doctor’s hand on his cheek and instinctively leaned his head gently against said hand.
It was so romantic to him when he brushed the stray hair from his face that Gypsin’s eyes closed half way. He suddenly wasn’t thinking about anything else. He even forgot about his shirt and vest that sat in his lap. Doctor Bramsfield was certainly a charming man and he liked it.

Edward chuckled softly and tilted his chin up a bit to look into his eyes. "I'm no prince charming." was all he said as he inspected the topless man a bit more. "I see you enjoy stroking my leg. Quite...flirtatious of you." he said with fervor in his voice. "I would reciprocate to some degree, but now both of our legs are crossed and I fear for the same reason. He chuckled at the humor in the situation, if there was any at all.
He closed his emerald eyes and set a hand on Gypsin's knee, feeling the warmth beneath the fabric of his trousers as he smoothed his thumb over a wrinkle there. His eyes were warm and his smile was as well as he relaxed fully into the moment, feeling at ease and entirely too giddy for his own good. He should hav ebeen concerned about Amelia finding out, but it had been a good month or two since the girl had showed her face in his office, and so he felt it safe to continue on down the road with Mr. Faust.
His heart started to pound as his mind wandered to naughtier places, and his hand once again settled on Gypsin's face. "Forgive me, Gods, for what I am about to do" he whispered, though he had no faith in any God of any sort. He placed a chaste kiss on the other's temple and pulled away, face bright red and slightly ashamed. He hoped to the heavens that this man was as gay as he was, or he'd be in for a world of mockery and trouble.

"Forgive me… It’s an instinctive reflex I suppose.” He blushed a bit more and pulled back his hand. Indeed he was hiding something with crossed legs. His smile became one of mischief and even playful! He giggled again and turned his head to try and hide his blush. “I…er.” Now he was at a loss for words and just chuckled. Just to play with the doctor he uncrossed his legs with a smirk.
He looked down at the doctor’s hand on his knee and bit his lip to hide his giddy smile… that didn’t work. He wanted so much to learn more about the doctor. Through his green eyes he could see pain and he wanted to know more about hat. The doctor fascinated him all around. While working perhaps he would come to know more of the doctor’s secrets. He looked down at and his eyes widened slightly when he saw that his bandaged elbow was clearly exposed. Leech bites ten to bleed up to ten hours and he had only done it to himself about four hours ago. He quickly managed to nudge his shirt somehow over that part of his arm and leaned forward.
Gypsin tilted his head when the doctor spoke. What an odd thing to say- did he just kiss him? He blushed even more and looked at the doctor. He looked ashamed but Gypsin wasn’t ashamed in the least. He leaned forward very slowly giving the chance to Bramsfield to stop him if he didn’t want this and he slowly brought their lips together gingerly and quickly pulled away. “Mon Dieu, My god, I’m sorry.” He said softly and pulled back, he also translated for himself which he found a bit humorous. Though he wasn’t really sorry, in fact he quite enjoyed. “I need to learn not to kiss people without their permission.” He chuckled.

His eyes widened as their lips met and his breath hitched in his throat. Before they could flutter closed again, Gypsin had pulled away, and he was left wanting more. He gently stroked his hair softly and smiled wistfully "Oh lord, no, I don't mind a single bit" he said softly, leaning in and reciprocating the kiss as he closed his eyes and indulged. It felt so wrong, but so right to have kissed him as such.
He smiled a warm smile when he pulled away and chuckled "And how was that?" He asked breathlessly, leaning in for a more searing kiss. Satisfied, he tugged away reluctantly and shuddered harshly. "Yes, I'm a homosexual. And proud to say it" he said with a husky voice. He uncrossed his own legs, glancing down at the other's lap, and scooted closer so their hips were touching on the side. "Tell me...do you...do you have feelings for me? I can certainly reciprocate." He whispered.

He was about to say something back until the doctor kissed him. His eyes widened only a moment before they closed and he kissed him back easily. He was relieved for the reaction. It was so hard for him now to keep his heart rate normal and his breathing normal. HE couldn’t even blame it on his corset anymore! He shrugged and smiled more. The Doctor’s lips were so soft to him.
He wasn’t sure how many times they had kissed as he wasn’t paying attention anymore. “I’m so glad to hear that Monsieur Bramsfield.” He whispered, leaning a bit more forward. And then he froze when they were suddenly closer together and he was asked about his feelings… That almost never happened! “Well… I,” He looked down at then up again with a brighter smile. “I’m happy to say that within the mere minutes that I’ve known you, I’ve certainly grown to like you very much and I think I’ve even become attached to you. I’m honored!”

"I feel as though if the night were to progress further, I wouldn't mind a single bit. However, that decision is up to you, dear one." said he as he leaned back and folded his hands in his lap, at ease enough with himself to let Gypsin make any of the next moves. He didn't want to be too pushy as he oft was, and so left it all up to him.
He poured them both equal amounts of the last of the tea, as he preferred not to waste any of a good, warm pot, and sipped at his steaming cup thankfully, happy to have a nice distraction from his racing heart and aching loins. Tea always did that to him--kept him distracted when he needed to be, lost in the flavours and aromas. He looked over with burning green eyes just to tempt the man, tilting his chin up a bit.
An idea struck him most suddenly, and he turned to him. "Perhaps I should make you a bit more comfortable." he said, slowly removing his jacket, then his vest and cravat, leaving only a thin ivory shirt between the world and his torso. "I warn you. My body is something of a hideous sight. Should you choose to remove my shirt for me, you'll see why. It was...a mistake I made two years ago...I should not like to recall it aloud, but if you can get past all the scars--there, I've said it--then we should get along swimmingly."

Gypsin blinked a few times. Unsure what the doctor was talking about. Sometimes the blonde was a total space case. Then it finally clicked and he leaned back. “I wouldn’t mind either Monsieur.” He slowly reached over and took one of the doctor’s hands. He found himself being nervous again but he hid that rather well behind his smiling face.
His mismatched eyes wondered over the man’s face and his hands as he poured the tea. This game was excited to him but it made him nervous. He slowly reached over and picked up a cup and took a small sip before he placed it back and leaned forward again to inspect the man with curious different eyes. Bramsfield was tempting him! He smirked mentally. ‘I see how we are to play now.’ He leaned back and let go of his hand, running a hand through his own hair and adjusting his corset, he even acted like he didn’t notice. He took a few minutes to calm himself and take a sip of his tea, still careful to hide his injured arm.
He lifted his eyes slightly from his cup when Bramsfeild spoke. Make him more Comfortable? What did he mean? Poor thing, it took all he knew not to spit out his tea when he started to take off articles of his clothing. He frowned mentally when he didn’t take off his shirt and he stopped there. “Monsieur… I fear that I have a few scars on my own. I find them quite attractive on others.” He beamed and set down his tea cup. He slowly leaned forward and ran his delicate fingers over the thin fabric. He stopped when he reached a button and slowly began undoing them. He found that as he did it, his hands started to tremble. “We all make mistakes… I should know.” He leaned down and placed a soft and quick kiss to the older man neck and he finished unbuttoning his shirt and slowly sliding it down his shoulders.

Edward's hands, too, began to tremble, and he shuddered a bit softly. As the fabric fell away, he curled his arms up over his torso, hiding the majority of the endless scars that arched all over his body in intricate designs. Not a single patch of skin was uncovered, except for his back, which he could not have reached on his own. Some scars were deeper and darker than others, and some couldn't be seen at all except for thin, pale lines. Regardless, he was ashamed of each and every one of them.
He hid his face in shame for a moment and then looked up when Gypsin did not scoff at him. "You... you do not mind the fact that I'm marred and tormented?" his eyes widened and relief spread over him. He looked down at the intricate designs gauged into his skin and shuddered, recalling exactly what had brought him to that point and what he had done to gain these, all in the name of what he thought was love.
