Gypsin was both shocked and amazed by what he saw. He was expecting scars but nothing like this. However it really didn’t bother him. His first lover had also been badly scarred as well. He was used to them far more than many. Not to mention Gypsin had a few, though most were small Y shaped ones from his leeching and others were in odd places for various reasons but he always managed to keep them covered some way to hide them. He found his own scars to be hideous and ugly. But on Bramsfield… They seemed very beautiful and enchanting. He was tormented! That’s another secret Gypsin looked forward to finding out! When he thought back to his first lover his face was hidden a moment as it changed to a lethal and angry face then changed back again before he looked back to the older man in front of him.
He frowned when the doctor hid his face but quickly smiled again and it was bright and beaming. He gently took hold of the man's chin and turned his hed to face him, gently brushing away a few strands of Bramsfield's red hair. “ I don’t mind at all.” He giggled and leaned forward one hand moving from his chin to resting on the man’s chest. “It speaks a story. One that may be very important later in life.” He said in a moment of philosophical thinking before he giggled again. “Forgive me, I’m rambling aren’t I?"

"Not at all" he said softly and shook his head. "Can you feel my heartbeat? It pounds for you. I am so nervous and yet so...how would you say...turned on?" he trailed off, "that's the slang I hear my chasers used. I've never felt this way before. I'm being entirely honest with you" he said, absentmindedly fidgeting and smoothing a thumb over his nipples which had hardened to the cool night air.
He leaned in to kiss him tenderly, pulling away to offer his arms to the other. "I feel the urgent need to embrace you. Please, would you allow me?" he whispered, "I... haven't been close to another in months. It makes me ache so." his voice was distant and needy, and his hands trembled as they always did when they grew cold. It was an after-effect of his near-death just a month after his scarring torture.

Gypsin shivered at the man’s words. How poetic and Modern? He had never heard the phrase “Turned on” But he took it as a good thing. “Once more you flatter me Monsieur!” HE said with his beaming smile. He inhaled slowly and reached over to take, and quickly finish, a drink of his ea. The drink warmed him and he sighed softly. He once again looked to the man’s scarred body and was so interested in it! He wanted to know what happened but he knew better than to as.
When Bramsfield kissed him, he felt like he was somewhere else and he enjoyed it. He leaned forward in to the man’s arms and it was only then that he realized how cold it had been. Gypsin shivered and moved closer to him to catch the warmth that the doctor possessed. Hearing the emotions in his voice made his heart flutter and wanted to fill that need. Did he give in to easily? Oh well, he didn’t mind. To him, Bramsfield was so… innocent? Maybe that wasn’t the right word. But he wondered how he ended up working in an asylum. He seemed a bit too fragile for that. But he supposed that’s where the old say “You can’t judge a book by its cover.” Came in to play.

He ensnared his arms around Gypsin's slender body and thought idly of untying his corset strings altogether, then thought the better of it. He'd rather hold him like this, and he didn't want to alarm him. Still, something ached between his legs and he couldn't help but groan a bit impatiently at his own body. "Damn it all" he whispered, leaning down and capturing him in a searing kiss that read each and every emotion the man felt inside.
He brushed his tongue lightly across the other's lower lip asking for entrance, dying to experience this. It was then that he realized he was moving a mighty bit too fast, and he pulled away with a loud smooch. "No." he said, wincing. He was about to apologize for having moved so fast for the man when a loud, sharp cry echoed through the room from his bedroom. He sighed heavily, gave him a kiss on the forehead, and stood up.
"I must tend to my son, my dear" he said apologetically and rushed off. He returned a few moments later with Aeodhan toddling behind, rubbing his sleepy eyes. The child mumbled and whimpered, obviously disturbed by some form of nightmare.
Doctor Bramsfield sat down on the settee again and hoisted the child onto his lap, cradling him softly. "Aeodhan, meet Gypsin. Gypsin, this is Aeodhan, my beloved son." he said. "And I'm quite sorry for my previous rejection. It was unintentional. Are we still alright?"

He shivered again and the doctor’s arms around his gave him such a calm feeling. He leaned more against Bramsfield until he was almost laying on him and sighed. It had been so long since a civilized man had held him like this. He didn’t think even if he tried to he could remember the last time, nor really did he want to.
Suddenly Bramsfield whispered something and he eagerly kissed him back, reading everything he could from the kiss and what he got from it made his smile grow even wider… was that possible? He felt the man’s tongue against his lip and just when he was to open for him he pulled away. No? Did Gypsin do somethng wrong? He was about to say something but he jumped when he heard the scream. Poor thing nearly had a heart attack and also nearly flew off the couch when he nearly jumped out of his skin. He watched the red head get up and walk out of the room and he frowned. He was really enjoying that embrace. But he smiled again and slowly began to slip his shirt back on. Wait a minute… his son had been in the next room? What if they would’ve had sex?! Gypsin stopped and blushed bright red at the thought.
He was beginning to do up the buttons when the doctor came back with a small shadow of a boy trailing behind and Gypsin nearly screamed at how cute the boy was. He was just so small and adorable! He looked at the boy in Bramsfield’s lap and smiled. “It’s wonderful to meet you Aeodhan.” He giggled. Here was that fatherly side that Gypsin found so attractive and cute! Not to metnion he could totally see the resemblance of the older man in his small son. “Oh, no, no. It’s fine Monsieur. I completely understand.” He said quickly doing up his shirt

"Ah. Well." He smiled as he bounced little Aeodhan and rubbed the child's back. "I suppose you can leave if you like. Or, if you truly want to spend the night..." he said hintingly, clearing his throat as he so often did. He nuzzled Aeodhan and kissed his forehead gently. "Who are you?" Said the boy with wide green eyes, overly freckled face beaming with radiance. "Strange man! So pretty!" Said he, pawing at the man's hair softly.
"He is not strange, strange child" jested Edward with a chuckle, "You know I jest. Neither of you are strange. Gypsin is a friend of mine. A new doctor here. Say hello." He said, smiling down at him. "Hello Gypsie!" He waved, then occupied himself in braiding his father's endless coils of ginger hair. He hummed a happy diddy that his father always sang and occasionally looked up at Gypsin to see if the man was watching him.
After a while, he drifted off to sleep leaning into his father's bare chest, and he cooed in his sleep. Edward rose to his feet and smiled at Gypsin "Would you care to hold my son whilst I relocate his bed for the night so that, if we please, we may...well...enjoy ourselves?" He whispered in a hushed tone.

It took all he was not to giggle like mad man at how cute the scene was in front of him. He was about to get up and leave until the Doctor suggested him staying the night, perhaps in a suggestive way and he crossed his legs again. “I wouldn’t mind staying the night.” He said with a playful smile. Truth be told he probably couldn’t sleep anyway so if anything he would have company. He chuckled when Aeodhan spoke and called him strange. Most every child did, but none ever said he was pretty and that made his heart swell. This child was too cute for his own good.
“I don’t mind being called strange.” He whispered to Aeodhan with a wink and he leaned back to looked at the two more fully. He waved when the child said hello. “Hello little one.” He said sweetly and giggled as he watched him braid his father’s hair. That was just adorable and it attracted Gypsin to Bramsfield even more. But… was an asylum the proper place to raise a child? He didn’t dare ask and shrugged. ‘To each their own’
Gypsin wacthed the child sleep but his eyes also wondered to Bramsfield's exposed chest and his face. He found himself fanatsizing and was brought of the lovely daydream by Bramsfield's voice.“I would love to hold him! I simply adore children.” He beamed with excitement and held out his arms. The tint to his brightened when he got at what he was suggesting and he nodded. This would definitely be the interesting first day in his new home.

He gently handed his two year-old son to the man and bustled off to tend to the bed. He managed to get it into the music room and then came to retrieve Aeodhan from Gypsin's arms. He carried the heavy boy to bed, tucked him in, and returned to the foyer of his office with a particularly naughty grin he just couldn't contain.
"I believe we left off somewhere around here..." he trailed off, dropping to his knees over Gypsin's lap and tugging the man into a deep and wanton kiss that seared his heartstrings and turned him on once again. He once again delved his tongue over Gypsin's lips, asking for the entance he didn't get a chance to have last time. When it was granted to him, his eyes fluttered shut and rolled back, gliding his tongue slowly along the other's tongue, tasting his mouth for the first time

Gypsin held the man’s child close and ran his thin hand through his hair. He looked so much like Bramsfield that it amazed him. It was just so cute. He leaned back taking deep breaths now that his corset was loose enough for him to do so. When the man came back he willingly gave him his son and sat up quickly. He fixed his hair so it looked perfect and he undid the buttons on his shirt so that it hung open. His vest he set on a small table so it was out of the way and wrinkle free. He wanted himself to look perfect!
He sat back down just as Bramsfield came back and smiled up at him as he dropped on to his knees and kissed him. The tint on his face all too noticeable by now as he quickly and without hesitation opened his mouth for the other. Their tongue playing together and dancing about. The kiss was simply amazing! Gypsin could hardly contain himself and a wondering hand slipped over his should to gently run through and play with Bramsfield’s hair. After a moment he pulled away to catch his breath. "You have such wonderful kisses.” He whispered softly with a lustful smile.

"And you have such wonderful lips" said Doctor Bramsfield as he, too, stroked Gypsin's hair softly. It was true, he found himself fascinated with this man entirely too much. Even his heart was thundering in anticipation of what was to come. He smiled and smooched him a few more times before his mind turned elsewhere. "I must implore you that if you do stay tonight, you try and hush yourself in the heat of things so that my son does not awaken to any noises he shouldn't hear."
He'd made his intentions quite clear, now, and was relieved to have. It meant the air was no longer thick with those kinds of questions, and things could progress as they were meant to, however that may have been. He rolled off of him and sat beside him once again "So. Now what should we do?" He asked curiously, not sure what would best suit the mood. He felt like playing a sonata or two on his violin, but thought better of it, as he didn't want to go in to get it and risk waking Aeodhan up again.
He instead occupied himself with braiding Gypsin's shaggy hair, just as Aeodhan had just done to himself. The hair was soft and straight, and smooth to the touch, much like his own. He smiled and tucked his bangs away, removing his glasses and setting them aside. "I don't need them to see up close as I am" he explained "Merely to see far distances." He nodded and chuckled "But that's irrelevant."

Do I? I’m so glad you think so!” He giggled and licked his lips quickly. Every time they kissed Gypsin’s heart fluttered and it made him shiver with anticipation. Now he knew however why the doctor wanted him to stay there the night, though he sure he knew before, and he nodded. “Oh I wouldn’t dream of waking him up with those noises. Though I’ve been told I scream.” He giggled with a playful smile. He loved when people played with his hair and he sighed very softly leaning his head against the hand.
He found that he was cold again when he rolled off of him and shivered moving closer to him. HE leaned against the man an placed a hand on his chest, tracing every scar delicately and intricately. “I’m not sure….” He closed his eyes and thought for a moment. How does one get in to the mood when in an Asylum? He giggled at the silly thought of just how that was done and laid his head on his shoulder. He looked at the fire place. Could they cuddle up by the fire? Would that work?
He purred softly when he felt Bramsfield braid his hair and he smiled. “You have such soft hands and a delicate touch.” He whispered. He opened his eyes and watched him take off his glasses. “Not to mention you have pretty eyes as well.” HE chuckled and sat up to looked at his eyes. “I’ve never had to wear glasses… But they look wonderful on you, but I think I prefer you without them.”

"Many do, it seems" he nodded in agreement. "I myself prefer them, for some reason. I suppose I've been wearing them my whole life and am used to them by now." He said quietly and continued to stroke Gypsin's hair. "You're cold. We can light the fireplace, or adjourn to my warm covers" said he, favouring the first option over the latter. He quite loved a good, roaring fire in the hearth, always put into a splendid mood by it. He'd read stoies to Aeodhan there on that very settee by a nice fire.
He rose fluidly in one motion, gently removing Gypsin from his lap at the same time, and knelt to light the fire. When that had been accomplished, he turned and smiled, sitting on the floor closer to it. "Come" he beckoned, leaning back against the settee to get comfortable. He patted his lap to invite him to sitt there, aching merely for the contact of another being that would keep him sane for just a little while longer. He found that he hadn't had a severe mood swing yet in the presence of this man and felt it to be a good day indeed.

He giggled and leaned against his fragile looking hand that stroked his shaggy hair, his eyes roaming to the others long red hair. He simply loved a man with well-kept long hair. “A fire sounds delightful.” He said with a whisper and looked over to the fire place. He really didn’t want to retire to the bed room quite yet, what he wanted was the body heat of other and romantic happenings and that was just was he would get by the fire place. With this man… he felt like he could be himself. He didn’t feel the need to try to hide his injured arm. He was in quite the wonderful mood and every smile he had given had been genuine.
Gypsin frowned when he was lifted from the man’s lap and back on to the settee. He'd wanted to stay like that a while more. He watched him kneel in front of the fire place and light the fire swiftly with ease he could even fill the heat from where h was sitting. He slowly slid off his shirt again since the child was gone and stood up walking slowly to him and taking his offer and beckoning. Gypsin gracefully sat on his lap and wraps his arms around him to keep himself from falling over. It’d been so long since he’d had this kind of kindness that it tugged at his heartstrings and suddenly everything was normal. He smiled and laid his head gently on his shoulder, the warmth of the fire and of Bramsfield’s body warming him quite well. This was the contact he so craved and needed.

"Comfortable?" He whispered softly, stroking the other's back. When he noticed the bandage around his arm, he thought nothing of it and shrugged it off. The blood seeping through did not alarm him, as he had once been covered from head to toe in self-inflicted scars that nearly killed him from the blood-loss. He smiled and kissed his forehead. "I quite like you. I know we've moved quite fast into this, but I feel like I've known you for an eternity." He said honestly.
He then leaned the both of them back against the cushions of the settee which he'd propped behind them, and smiled warmly. "Perhaps we won't make it to the bed this evening, but that's okay. I feel as though at some point we may, you know?" He nodded, "I truly think so." With that he shut his mouth and enjoyed gazing into the fire for a little while, thinking of Aeodhan and of Gypsin and Amelia, but primarily of his deceased husband, and all the things that this new man was doing that reminded him so of his beloved Noel Kappel. His heart broke a bit remembering the tragic end to his dearly departed, and he wheezed a bit to catch his held breath.

“Oh yes…” He whispered softly with a smile. He hadn’t even noticed that blood was seeping through his bandage; he was to focused on Bramsfield to really mind anything else. Maybe that was why he was getting lightheaded. He shrugged it off and mindlessly his hand wondered to Bramsfield’s hair and his fingers began to curl about in his hair, playing with it slowly. He looked at Bramsfield when he kissed him and his smile softened. “Really? I quite like you as well very much… Perhaps we have known each other for eternity. In another life.” He whispered, his eyes closed and his head leaned on his shoulder.
He giggled about the bed comments. “Oh I won’t mind that at all!” Due to his insomnia he probably wouldn’t even get two hour sleep, but also that meant more time with Bramsfield. “I really don’t mind that all… I quite like this. It’s very soothing and nice.” He whispered, opening his eyes to look at the raging fire that warmed them both. He nuzzled against Bramsfield’s bare chest; he could sense something was off. “Are you alright?” He sat up a bit to look his straight in the eye. After hearing his wheezing he was bit concerned. “Something… is bothering you.” He stated more than asked. “Care to tell me?”
