He jolted with a start when Gypsin addressed him and looked away at the fire to collect himself. "Yes, I'm quite alright" he said, his reply not quite fitting to Gypsin's statement or question. He shook his head vigorously. "Just ehm...thinking...thinking of my long lost husband. You remind me so much of him. So giddy, so feminine. Ever smiling, never disappointed or negative... it's almost heartbreaking." He said, voice low and wavering, "and yet I don't want to leave your company. Don't leave. Stay."
He was speaking mostly to the apparition which had appeared across the room that only he could see. He shuddered as it slowly became Noel, reaching out to him. He pawed at the air, suffering under a delusion as he so often did, and soon had lapsed into a mood swing, something he was frequently the victim of. He never knew which personality would come out next, and here it was his sorrowful side.
A tear leaked from his eye and he let out a soft huff of pain, clutching at Gypsin's shoulders desperately. "For the love of God, help me." he whispered urgently, eyes panicked. The apparition had become something terrible and was coming for him, meaning to devour him whole.

He resisited the urge to frown and jumped slightly. It seemed as if the Docotr wasn’t really paying attention. “Do I? I-I’m so sorry. Perhaps I should leave….” He said softly and was about to get when the man told him to stay. He sat down on his lap again. “That last thing that I want is to have yu suffer in my company Monsieur Bramsfield… I… don’t mean to dig up painful memories… But if you’d like me to stay I’ll stay.” He whispered however something told him that the doctor wasn’t listening anymore.
He blinked when the man has started pawing at the air. “D-doctor?” He asked with a tilt to his head. He didn’t really understand what was going on and it was starting to worry him a bit. He leaned back to bit. “Are you alright?” He asked suddenly and placed his hand on the man’s shoulder and looked about the room but he didn’t see anything.
He jumped again as he was seized suddenly by his shoulders. “I-I don’t understand Monsieur!” He gasped and looked around again. “Monsieur there is nothing here. It’s just you and I.” He said softly. Was the Doctor seeing things like he himself did?

"It's...Noel is..." he panicked and then fell into a dead faint, partly from exhaustion, partly from fright. He had not suffered under a spell so bad in ages, and it terrified him to no end. When he awoke, he was laying in his bed swaddled in blankets, and thought himself to be alone. He had ruined the evening. Terrified Gypsin too, he supposed, and scared him away.
When he saw the beautiful man sitting at the foot of his bed, he perked up "Oh, my dear, I am so terribly sorry" he began, wraught with grief and still in a sorrowful personality. He hung his head in shame and shook it. "I believe I've just ruined the entire evening, it seems. Lest you'd like to lay with me for a while and embrace me" he said quietly "I should quite like that, if you're not too terrified of me yet."

“Noel?” He asked softly then the man fell limp and he gasped softly. He must have been seeing things, this had happened to Gypsin quiet a lot so he was in no position to judge. He let his smile melt away in to a frown and he slowly, with great effort because Gypsin wasn’t the strongest man alive, picked up the doctor and carried him to his room laying him on his bed and covering him with blankets to protect him from the chilly night air.
He was worried to leave the doctor alone in such a state, but he went and quickly put back on his shirt atleast and done it up. Normally when this happened to him, he was left terrified and sobbing uncontrollably. He sat down at the foot of his bed and he was re-wrapping his bleeding arm. ’Damnable little thing’s sure can bite.’ He though with a small laugh and he was smiling again when he jumped and turned to face the doctor. “Good evening Monsieur… How are you feeling?” He asked softly. He got off the bed and finished wrapping his arm than returned to the doctor’s side. “please don’t be sorry… I promise you this isn’t the worst evening I’ve spent alone with someone.” He said with a chuckle as he slipped under the covers and wrapped his arms around the man. “It takes a lot to truly terrify me Monsieur. I was just startled and caught off guard… Is there anything at all I could get you?”

"I'm quite fine, now" he said, burying his face into Gypsin's chest and breathing deeply. He relaxed and caught his breath, satisfied with the way things were now, and smiled warmly. "I saw Noel..." he explained "Who then became a hideous beast and tried to eat me alive." He whispered shakily, recalling the horrid delusion with a shock of terror. Soon he was in a more romantic mood, though, and he pawed at Gypsin's chest innocently. "Kiss me, Mr. Faust... kiss me like there's no damn tomorrow." He said urgently.
He didn't know why, but he was eager as all hell to do just that, and so he took control and did it himself. He kissed him with something akin to passion, ensnaring him in a tight embrace, when guilt suddenly washed over his heart for a breif moment. He was leaving his heart to the dogs. But it soon passed and he calmed down considerably, eyes lidded and heart hammering. "I...I feel so comfortable here" said he, wistfully. "So comfortable and warm. Thank you." He said with an appreciative nod.
